• All sanitary facilities signages with exemption for en suite in Class 1b & SOU in Class 2, 3 & 9c must include^{NCC 2022 Vol 1, D4D7}
• Access symbol
• Raised male or female symbol
• Braille & tactile
• Transfer direction onto WC pan (LH or RH)
• Located 50 to 300mm from architrave if installed, or alternatively on door^{NCC 2022 Vol 1, S15C2 (c)}
• Sign's background colour to have ≥ 30% luminance contrast with the wall it is mounted on^{NCC 2022 Vol 1, S15C4}

• Sanitary Facilities excluding en suite to a Class 1b bedroom, or SOU in Class 3 or 9c
• On the door of an Ambulant Cubicle within a Sanitary Facility
• Accessible adult change facility
• Wayfinding signage directing a person to an Accessible Facility must be installed outside
• A bank of sanitary facilities that does not include an accessible unisex bathroom
• An accessible unisex facility directing a person to the nearest accessible adult change facility, if provided
