• Can’t Be Refinished: Scratches or damage require replacing the affected section
• Can’t be sanded or repaired like hardwood.
• Perceived Value: Doesn’t feel or carry the prestige of real wood or stone
• Removal Challenges: Can be harder to remove than laminate flooring
• Slippery: Smooth vinyl can be slippery when wet

• Inspect the Material
• Check the planks or tiles in natural daylight for any damage or surface defects
• Report any damaged pieces to supplier
• Check the Subfloor Conditions
• Clean, dry & level
• ≤ 4mm in 2 meters or ≤ 1mm over 150mm flatness deviation
• Decide your directional design layout beforehand
• 10% additional material for cutting waste

• Butted together ensuring no gaps
• Spot-glue or fully bond using polyurethane-based adhesive
• Leave a 3 to 5mm gap between the underlay & walls for expansion

• Install as per manufacturer instructions & standards
• Leave a 3mm gap between the flooring & skirting (if not vinyl)
• Use 2 to 3 cartons at a time & mix the planks to ensure a natural, varied appearance

Cleaning & Maintenance^Informative

• Use damp mop to prevent water damage
• Sweep or vacuum regularly
• Use gentle cleaners, avoid abrasive or scrub brushes
• For tough stains, use baking soda or a nylon brush
• Use of furniture pads to prevent scratches
• Place mats at entrances to reduce wear in high-traffic areas
• Limit UV exposure
