• A sanitary plumbing system must be in accordance with the NCC^{AS/NZS 3500.2:2021, 6.9.4 (f)}
• ≥ 600mm above if ≤ 600 horizontally from Eaves or Parapet^{AS/NZS 3500.2:2021, 6.9.4 (e)}
• ≥ 5m from any fresh air intake^{AS/NZS 3500.2:2021, 6.9.4 (a)}
• ≥ 600mm above any opening within ≤ 3m horizontally^{AS/NZS 3500.2:2021, 6.9.4 (d)}
• ≥ 2m above or ≥ 600mm below a chimney within ≤ 3m horizontally^{NCC 2022 Vol 3, C1D3}

• Any space with gas-fueled combustion appliance must be ventilated in accordance with the NCC^{NCC 2022 Vol 1, J1V4 (1)}
• Above a roof, not including height of Cowl^{AS/NZS 5601.1:2013, 6.9.2}
• ≥ 500mm from closest part of the Roof
• ≥ 200mm from an adjacent Chimney
• Above a usable area^{AS/NZS 5601.1:2013, 6.9.2}
• ≥ 2m above a Terrace, Balcony etc. &
• ≥ 500mm above surrounding Parapet

• Heating & fuel burning appliances to be installed in accordance with the NCC^{NCC 2022 Vol 1, G2D2}
• r ≥ 6m from any adjacent building^{AS/NZS 2918:2018, 4.9.1 (a)}
• Extend Flue Pipe
• ≥ 600mm above top of Roof if horizontally ≤ 3m from Roof high point^{AS/NZS 2918:2018, 4.9.1 (d)}
• ≥ 1m high if > 3m from Roof high point on low pitched Roofs^{AS/NZS 2918:2018, 4.9.1 (b)}, or
• ≥ 1m above Roof horizontally within 3m for steep pitched Roofs^{AS/NZS 2918:2018, 4.9.1 (c)}
• ≥ 4.6m above top of Floor Protector^{AS/NZS 2918:2018, 4.9.1 (c)}

• To adjacent surfaces, intakes & openings^{AS/NZS 2918:2018, 4.5.1.2 (b)AS/NZS 2918:2018, 4.8.1AS/NZS 2918:2018, 4.9.1AS/NZS 5601.1:2013, 6.9.2}
