I’m on the way to inspect a 157 year old Pub in Junee and YIPPEE! we can now make informed decisions about all internal plasterboard and fibre cement linings :
- spacing between SCREW fixings including when more are required for tiled walls
- when and where adhesive is recommended
- all those tricky Rules for distance from edges, how to plan joints over openings etc
- spacing to perimeter of boards
- control joints esp. for larger tiled walls.
Again, I didn’t realise that drywall was so skilled. Carpenters, tilers, waterproof, supervisors and especially the Certifiers and Site Architects need this intel to deliver the quality their Clients want.
I’m going to drink to this Tool tonight … maybe you guys & gals will get ‘plastered’ after every lined wall doesn’t bow, bounce, crack or lead to tiling failures!
