Many of our buildings will need a split system AC unit. And all of us assume the rules are clear. They are not. Especially:

sizing of unit i.e. see Table or get a Specialist to help

place it correctly i.e. middle of the area / clear of ceiling

durability i.e. galvanised fixings, saddles & wall brackets

use anti-vibration, neoprene mounting blocks

powdercoated, zincalume troughing

condensate lines should always be solvent glued

And PLEASE use stainless steel wall brackets & apply corrosion resistant coating (such as Blygold) in marine or poolside locations.
