Services / Mechanical / Air Conditioning Split System

Many of our buildings will need a split system AC unit. And all of us assume the rules are clear. They are not. Especially:

  • sizing of unit i.e. see Table or get a Specialist to help
  • place it correctly i.e. middle of the area / clear of ceiling
  • durability i.e. galvanised fixings, saddles & wall brackets
  • use anti-vibration, neoprene mounting blocks
  • powdercoated, zincalume troughing
  • condensate lines should always be solvent glued

    • And PLEASE use stainless steel wall brackets & apply corrosion resistant coating (such as Blygold) in marine or poolside locations.
