Sparkies should install everything correctly outside. But sometimes they don’t. So Designers, Builders & Supervisors should know the basic Rules such as:
- GPOs must be a minimum 300mm from finished ground
- 30˙ is the angle of an overhang that protects your lights & fixtures
- minimum IP 33 rated (Ingress Protection) required ….. I didn’t know this abbreviation either
- EV charging points are becoming common & should be protected against vehicle damage
