Waterproofing / Internal Waterproofing / Showers / Vertical Waterstop (Shower)

Common Sense Rules everyone:

    • waterstop is required if a shower screen or unenclosed shower is within 200mm of a door
    • detail the shower screen thoughtfully – to conceal the angle, minimise ugly joint
    • edge of angle must be visible through tile joint
    • I like patch fittings to glass – fixed dry side of shower stall where possible
    • seal a frameless screen on SHOWER side of waterbar (or over it if you wanna hide it)
    • angle requires metal primer before WPM.

Finally be really careful to seal fixing penos shower side of angle through tiles & WPM
