- Chemset post base fixings prior to installing membrane
- Wipe a compatible sealant around the base and any fixings
- PLEASE use durable base and fixings
- tighten fixings to minimise movement which might damage membrane.
We like post bases to be installed at high points in external floors. However, this is often impossible to do. So your building relies on WPM installation.
One day, all post bases and fixings will be 316SS and be less maintenance, carbon cost and never rust.
Basically, a correctly installed post base allows you to install an effective WPM.
